Stepping Into The Miraculous

A Magical Year

2016 has been a magical year for me.
During the first week of December 2015, I declared that 2016 was going to be Magical.
I had no idea at the time what that meant

During 2016:
I have attended five courses, as a guest, free of charge.
I listened to Anita Moorjani speak about her death experience and how she cannot explain logically what happened, but she can only use Metaphor to tell us what it was like.  See her Ted talk where she describes her warehouse and her flashlight.
I heard Greg Braden talk about HeartMath and met my friend Trinley, a Buddhist monk.
So I became a Heart Math coach.
My Romanticism has reached a whole new level of understanding and reciprocation, and I gained an understanding of the law of vibrational energy and have been calling things and people to myself, throughout the year.
So what is the biggest realisation that I made?
I have discovered a while back, that our consciousness uses a different language to our unconscious expression and in 2016 I began to understand that both are vital if we are to be fully self-expressed and have a true sense of reality or a greater perception of how it is.
It seems to me that Conscious language is mainly about time whereas unconscious language is more concerned with space.
.
Hence both are needed to create reality, i.e. Time and Space.
If you believe that it is our use of words that creates our reality, then it is not too far from realising that we could be magicians who cast spells each time we speak and that the quality of our life is consistent with the spells that we have been casting.
So what of unconscious linguistics? The language of unconsciousness cannot be logical. After all it's, not a conscious expression.
It probably occurs to us as if we are making stuff up. It's all made up.
But it is the unconscious mind expressing itself using the only language it can; metaphor and stories.
But in the spatial context, the closer the metaphoric expression exists to the speaker, the more realistic it is
Stepping into The Miraculous.
So if 2016 has been magical then what becomes possible is for 2017 to be miraculous.
What linguistic capability would be involved in that?

#JustSaying could be enough. Do you see?

Passion

Thank you @Aypee for sharing your passion –
Passion is about how much you will give up to have what you want and be driven  by that.
It isn’t the contemporary view that it is ‘a lovely idea that makes me feel good so I’m going to focus on that’.
The passion of Christ was about what he sacrificed to save the world.
nasa
But here’s the reality:
Passion is just a feeling!
And here’s the real question:
What feeling do you want to have about your business or your life?
If you  are waiting to get that feeling, you won’t.
If you put in that bit extra which costs you someway, you will.
How are you being around your life, right now?

We choose to go to the Moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard; because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one we intend to win …”   ~ John F Kenedy 35th President of the United States of America

Somebody posts a ‘Do you remember when xyz’ item on Facebook and I begin to experience joy.
I go for a beer with my old (familiar and old – LOL) and we natter and we become very enthusiastic about ‘the time when….’
Good old feelings arise.

Actually most of what we remember wasn’t quite like that.
We have confabulated elements of our memories. We shrunk them down, bits fell off and we stowed them away in our unconsciousness - be there such a place. Just like a zipped down file on a computer storage device. When we pulled the memories back out again the original events weren’t like that but we got to feel something that resembled a recollection – a re COLLECTION – of feelings
They are just feelings and repeatedly running the memories will initially intensify the joy (or whatever your emotion is) and then the intensity will transform into a different set of feelings or will dissipate.
In point of fact most bad memories got bad through practice – BAD PRACTICE!
and
most good memories got good through practice – GOOD PRACTICE!
It’s all Practice, practice, practice – whatever you practice, you will get skilled at
I may be misquoting him but Richard Bandler has said
“The best thing about the past is that it is over”.
Thinking about it that way and I have to agree.
It is how we experience what’s left behind that is important and what is left behind is not the actual event but a printed memory; an imprint. That’s emotional.
There may be physical scarring or damage but the emotional stuff is running the show.
PTSD – Post-traumatic stress disorder, no matter the event is the reaction to memories, even if it (the feelings) are suppressed. There are things that can be done using eye movement to change the emotional impact. I use Integral Eye Movement Therapy and I’ve watched the inexplicable occur as I’ve used it. I was so fascinated by it that trained to become a trainer in it!
For me Bad memories tend to lose their impact and I can keep reducing the intensity by repeating a bad memory in my mind and reducing the emotional impact deliberately. That’s not denial. It’s Adjustment! Just like using knobs and dials on a control panel.
Remember, whatever you resist will persist. Its change that is required not denial.
My control panel, is my mind:
I can change the pictures that I see in my mind
Push images away, shrink them down, and increase the size of images from good memories of the same event.
Change the where I see them to different positions
    Turn sounds up and down.
Change the sounds of people’s voices – their tonality, the words they use. Make them sound like Mickey Mouse
I can change the intensity of the feeling – damp it down, crank it up.
I can change the words that I use to describe the event.
There really isn’t much that I can’t do in my mind, ask any good Neuro Linguistic Practitioner.
It really is like the old gag:
“Its mind over matter – if you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter”
There is also changing the enquiry you are having about the past:
If you don’t like the answer you get, ask a better question!

And I can move my eyes in differing patterns while I remember the event and experience it changing.
What limits our experience is how we use our mind and our body. The ‘use’ is our spirit – how we inspire ourselves.
It’s Mind, Body, Spirit, Practice and Communication

“Confabulation (verb: confabulate) is a memory disturbance, defined as the production of fabricated, distorted or misinterpreted memories about oneself or the world, without the conscious intention to deceive.[1] Confabulation is distinguished from lying as there is no intent to deceive and the person is unaware the information is false …..

I have read a lot of posts about Gratitude, particularly in the context of attracting desires into our lives or as most would say by “The Law of Attraction”.

When I was I my early twenties, I was attacked by a drug crazed idiot who went onto kick the legs away from my then fiancé and punch my mother in the face.

I cannot feel grateful for that BUT I do appreciate what that caused.
It caused very positive changes in the people involved. It could have been the entire opposite.

What then of gratitude? Can one be truly grateful for everything? Or can one be grateful for having the opportunity to experience everything?
Probably the latter.

Is one attracting things or is one attracting the experience of those things?
After all experience is no more than memory and emotions can be felt through memory or imagination – both create memories and both create experience.

Curiosity

Being curious is an attitude that keeps you present, aware when possibility and opportunity arise. Once you create a rule for your life ("That's how it is") , you have fixed a stake in your timeline that has you fixed in the past. Always review and be curious

Actually we are Human Feelings”

Life exists within Stories

"Life exists within Stories.
That's all we have left from our experiences and we use them to teach and to gain rapport.
It's the glue which holds us together in community and culture.
They aren't true.  They're just agreements "
